One Month Check-In

We laughed, we cried ...

Well, the numbers don't lie, so let's take a look at them, shall we?

Monthly Change in Metrics
Measurement Value Change
Neck 17" - 1"
Chest 43" - 1.5"
Waist 44.75" - 1.75"
Hips 42" - 1"
Biceps (average) 14.9" + 0.25"
Forearms (average) 12.5" + ~0.25"
Thighs (average) 26.25" + 0.25"
Calves (average) 18" +/- 0"
Weight 240.4 lbs - 3.0 lbs
Body Fat % 31.5% + 4.5%

So, overall I think I'm doing well. Most of the red are in areas that aren't as indicative of body fat, so that's a plus. I also chalk a lot of this change up to inconsistent measuring. The BF%, for example, is using the caliper method and I'm pretty sure I did it wrong last time.

The big wins here are the 1" reduction of my hips, almost 2" reduction of my waist, and 3 lbs exactly lost from my first weigh in (not from 250 - as I've said before, I'm pretty sure that was an inaccurate starting value).
