Stay on target ...

First "official" weigh-in using the new Withings Body Cardio scale.

And the results are .... 230 lbs! A new record! Woo!

Just gotta stay focused, which is tough when you see cupcakes and bagel chips and oh my god all the tasty foods ....
... Imma need a minute ...
So, yeah, lesson learned - focus on what you're eating, and get to the gym. In other words ...

A great man, a wise man

This week 18 and I have been reasonably good about hitting the gym, although I've been focused purely on cardio for the past three weeks. Cardio being key to burning calories, and so to assist weight loss. However, I've noticed my body fat % going up, not down, according to my new digital overlord. That concerns me as it indicates I may be losing a decent amount of muscle mass in addition to the fat. That's no bueno.

So starting next week, I'm getting back at the weights. Bring it, jacked Roshi!
