Eating Is Hard ... To Stop

Artist's Depiction of My Eating Habits
Apparently, I like food.

This process involves a lot of changes more or less all at once, and some of it is hard. Take eating, for example. I'm trying to force myself to track all of my food intake, and it terrifies me. I thought I was eating fairly well yesterday - I even made sure to get the "mindful" meal at the cafeteria here at work.

3000+ calories later, and I know I messed up. Especially considering that my goal intake, according to MyFitnessPal, is 1950 calories. And I know exactly where the mistake was made - we went out to Texas Roadhouse last night for dinner. More specifically, we got a Cactus Blossom (a poor imitation of a Bloomin' Onion), of which I ate about a quarter. That alone accounts for about 500 calories.

This is gonna be a loooong process, tater.

Me, Last Night
